Welcome to my little archive of moments and reflections I've gathered over time.
I mostly photograph nature and landscapes, partly because they ask less of you (the land doesn’t move much…hopefully). I’m drawn to overcast days, hazy skies, quiet trails, and scenes that feel like moments of stillness.
My writing here comes from a similar place. Mostly notes from walks or fragments I thought worth keeping, even if they’re unfinished. None of this is meant to be definitive or instructional. It’s closer to a notebook than a portfolio.
Not to sound like an old curmudgeon, but I miss when Instagram was friends and family sharing cool photos online. When you could post something quietly and still stumble into other people’s work along the way, without the need to turn everything into a performance or a video just to be seen.
My hope is that this becomes something people close to me can return to over time. And maybe, long after I’m gone, it offers a small sense of the life I tried to live (mainly outdoors or deep in a book).
